Biography

The Obbligato String Quartet is an outstanding ensemble.  They are versatile, having performed at weddings, recitals, product launches, special events and seasonal functions. The Obbligato String Quartet’s members boast a wealth of international experience, having performed in the US, Germany, Russia, London, Malaysia, Croatia and Vietnam - not to mention throughout Australia.

With repertoire extending from Haydn, Mozart and Tchaikovsky through to Broadway favourites, international selections (ie tangos), Gershwin and the Beatles the quartet can accompany all types of events. The Obbligato String Quartet will carefully tailor their performance to your function.

The Quartet can appear in many different formats — solo, duo, trio and quartet in any number of combinations. The Obbligato String Quartet consists of two violins, viola and cello.
