Africa Clean Stoves
Africa Clean Stoves is working to replace charcoal and wood stoves, in Africa, with smokeless pyrolytic stoves. This will eliminate smoke from people’s homes in the villages (resulting in fewer respiratory conditions) and reduce deforestation caused by the need to burn wood and charcoal.
WSPA (World Society for the Protection of Animals)
WSPA has been promoting animal welfare for more than 25 years. Their work is concentrated in regions of the world where few, if any, measures exist to protect animals. WSPA’s work is focused on four priority animal welfare areas: companion animals, commercial exploitation of wildlife, farm animals and disaster management.
Animals Asia
Animals Asia is devoted to the welfare of wild and urban animals in Asia, particularly supporting the rescue of Moon Bears across China and Vietnam. They also work towards the conservation of endangered species.
Lost Dogs Home
The Lost Dogs' Home is one of the country's largest animal welfare organisations, caring for more than 25,000 cats and dogs each year.
