Imagine an artist at her easel, creating a lasting impression on a canvas and capturing your occasion as it takes place!
Amber Daly sets up her studio at your function and creates an original, contemporary painting of your celebration. Amber positions her easel and sets up her materials before guests arrive, and starts painting the background. The painting is completed at the end of the session and the painting is taken back to her studio to be prepared for hanging. The completed painting is included in the hire fee.

Process and Technique
Amber works with a planned palette and employs learned compositional and tonal techniques, however ultimately her unconscious is project manager. She begins by building up the canvas with layers of color and sketches. This process allows her to refine the concept of each piece, during which her mind is running through images of people and places like a slide show. Sometimes she even paints with her eyes closed so that these images are all she has. Layers are frequently obscured by fresh ideas or pushed into the background to enhance the emerging shapes occurring in the foreground. The result will be a painting that reveals a number of activities going on beneath the surface. Amber likes the viewer arriving at their own conclusion about the scene they see in front of them, rather then dictating the scene's meaning with detail. She tries to inject her work with energy. Her decisions are made quickly and strokes placed rapidly.
