Acrobatica is at the forefront of Australian Circus, offering a huge range of circus styles acts and characters. The Melbourne-based company has trained and worked with some of the hottest contemporary circus artists Australia has to offer. 

In solo, duo or trio performance, acrobatically balancing themselves and each other, these extraordinary artists perform incredible feats of human strength, agility and flexibility. Effortlessly they move through seemingly impossible positions, all the while maintaining perfect balance and precision. 

Acrobatica’s duo and trio routines incorporate adagio and hand-balancing to showcase the astounding, gravity-defying shapes and images that leave the audience asking the question “Is that really possible?”

The “Roue-cyr” (Wheel) is a simple yet elegant new-age piece of circus apparatus. The audience will be mesmerized as the performer effortlessly rolls and spins round the stage in a giant single wheel.

Acrobatica’s trio act “ThisSideUp” are Australia’s only exponents of the Russian Bar, a highflying spectacle performed with a 1950s spin. In their high pants, suspenders and fedoras, the performers playfully interact and manipulate this unique piece of equipment and fly up to seven metres in the air!  Marvel as they move in total unison like a well-oiled machine.
