80s Enuff Add to Shortlist
80s Enuff is a four-piece band of "Eighties Heads" who even use musical technology from the '80s with Simmons electronic drums and analogue Roland keyboards and all the sequencing gear to go with it.
80s Enuff take you back to when flares were out and shoulder pads and big hair were in. When the "yuppie" was born, safe sex replaced free love, when we cried as an extra terrestrial "phoned home". Walkmans, Fame, Donkey Kong, Acid Wash, Live Aid, Rubik's cube and MTV. . . .
80s Enuff’s repertoire is a mixed bag of classics from 1980-1986. This is the time when the "New Romantic" phase was at its peak worldwide with bands like Duran Duran, Human League, ABC, Adam and the Ants, Flock of Seagulls, Ah-ha, Real Life, Prince, Dead or Alive, Pseudo Echo, Wham, Depeche Mode, Soft Cell and Spandau Ballet. This is also the time when 80s rock/pop acts such as The Cars, J. Geils Band, The Romantics, Rick Springfield, Corey Hart, The Knack, The Vapors, Devo, INXS, Men Without Hats, Kenny Logins, Lover Boy and Nik Kershaw were topping the charts.
The time?.. The decade?.. The Eighties!
Zip Vapor - Lead Vocals
Adorian - Keyboard, Vocals
Nick Rickshaw - Guitar, Vocals
Roland Simmons - Electric Drums
"I would be more than happy to discuss with anyone requiring a band for an eighties theme (or just a great band to dance or listen to), that they would be hard pressed to find a better band that '80s Enuff!"
Simplot (February, 2006)
